Paulina ABASCAL is a Pastry Chef considered as one of the 10 best chefs in Mexico.
She specialized in pastry and chocolate in Lenôtre Paris, marking a new trend in decoration and combination of flavors in baking.
Paulina was chosen to represent Mexico in the World Cup of Pastry in 2001, she also had been a judge in many competitions. She won multiple awards throughout her career, including the Prize of Universal Excellence and the Gold Medal of Culinary Academy of France, in which she’s a member since 2004. She also stands as the Ambassador of Mexican pastry worldwide.
Multitalented, she published four books, including “The Larousse of the Desserts” which won first place as the Best book of desserts in the world in 2009 in New York. Since 2006, Paulina has her own television program on Gourmet channel.
Paulina has been ambassador of important brands in the country. Today, her daily job is to run the factory, the workshop and the store of her business called “Dulces Besos”, while consistently supporting, advising and training new generations of bakers.
