What is the IFSCC congress?
The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) is a global federation dedicated to fostering international cooperation in cosmetic science and technology. Uniting 51 member societies across 81 countries, the IFSCC boasts a membership of over 16,000 individual scientists.
Each year, the IFSCC hosts its flagship event: the IFSCC Annual Congress. This year’s theme, “The Future is Science,” was a three-day program - from September 15th to 18th - unveiling the latest pioneering innovations and transformative technologies that will shape the future of the cosmetics industry.
Helena Rubinstein’s presence at IFSCC 2025
Designed to resonate with the Congress theme and Helena Rubinstein’s moto “Beauty is nothing without science”, Helena Rubinstein presented three conferences developed with the scientific guidance of Dr. Audrey Gueniche, PharmD, PhD, alongside members of its Avant-Garde Science Board
Ozone, The new frontier in skin stress
On Day 1 of the Congress, Helena Rubinstein held a conference about latest insights on the exposome. The neuroscience scientific board expert introduced the impact of stress on brain and body and Dr. Gueniche detailed how these effects cascade to the skin via the skin-brain axis. She then highlighted ozone as a rising skin stressor triggering oxidative stress and inflammation, accelerating skin aging.
To counter this, a serum with native Crithmum maritimum cells— Powercell Skinmunity Youth Reinforcing Serum – with proven efficacy in counteracting ozone’s side effects on skin: Clinically proven reduction in key oxidative and inflammatory markers and visible improvement skin imperfections.

Targeting senescence to reverse aging
The second conference started with an essential philosophical question: Is Beauty eternal Youth?
Building upon the philosophical re-evaluation of longevity and the societal perception of youth presented by Prof. Rovere, the conference pivoted on a decade-long collaboration with INSERM in which Prof. Lemaitre presented a two-step cellular reprogramming strategy: block senescent signals and stimulate regeneration.
Dr Gueniche presented in-vitro and clinical results on Edelweiss native cells and senolytics used in Prodigy Cellglow The Deep Renewing Concentrate confirm that this strategy halts cellular aging and stimulates regeneration potential resulting in strong anti-aging efficacy.
How to restructure facial skin?
On the last Day, Helena Rubinstein presented its latest results on Pro-XylaneTM, its emblematic repairing and anti-aging molecule at the heart of the Replasty range. Dr. Dalko highlighted Helena Rubinstein’s Pro-XylaneTM sustainable origin, purity and unique 3D structure that confers its greater efficacy compared to others on the market. Dr. Gueniche showed how it acts at cellular and tissular level in skin before unveiling a new inverse emulsion, featuring the highest market concentration of Pro-Xylane™. Dr. Gueniche presented the impressive biological and clinical results achieved with the new Replasty Age Recovery Night 50PX cream. This new cream builts on the 15 years of proven efficacy both before and after cosmetic procedures. Dr. Gueniche concluded her presentation by showing the impressive results of Replasty Age Recovery Night 50PX, when combined with Microfocused Ultrasound. All while maintaining an uncompromised, ultra-luxe sensorial experience.
