The AMWC Monaco is a major international congress dedicated to aesthetic and anti-aging medicine. Held annually, it brings together experts, practitioners, and industry leaders. The congress features presentations on the latest advancements in cosmetic treatments, technologies, and research and covers topics such as injectables, energy-based devices, skincare and regenerative medicine.
AMWC attracts thousands of participants from around the globe and plays a vital role in shaping the future of the aesthetic medicine field.
Dr Audrey Gueniche (Pharm D and PhD), international scientific director presented in 2025 with:
- Dr. Maria Dalko-Cisba PhD, co-creator of the anti-aging ingredient PRO-XYLANE™, currently Head of the Green Sciences Incubator in L’Oréal Research & Innovation
- Prof. Jean-Marc Lemaitre PhD, expert in aging and longevity, Director at INSERM Research, Co-Director of the Institute of Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapies and co-founder of Ingraalys, expert in aging and longevity, focusing on cellular reprogramming to combat aging.
PRO-XYLANE™: 25 years of Repair and Anti-Aging efficacy
Dr. Dalko and Dr. Gueniche started with PRO-XYLANE™ as a breakthrough repairing and anti-aging molecule derived from a naturally occurring molecule and produce by green chemistry. By stimulating production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and Collagens– key elements for skin firmness, elasticity and wrinkles reduction - it targets the 3 skin layers for ultimate repair and rejuvenation.
"PRO-XYLANE™ is a green chemistry molecule that has been conceived by “mimicking nature”. 31 patents prove its efficacy in skin repair. In more than 25 years of research, we continue to discover its new properties, now making it a major molecule for anti-aging as well" says Maria Dalko, co-creator of the anti-aging ingredient PRO-XYLANE™.
PRO-XYLANE is the key ingredient of the REPLASTY range.
PRO-XYLANE™: The latest discovery on the unrivaled Repair and Anti-aging molecule
Dr. Gueniche started by presenting all the known benefits of Pro-Xylane™, from skin repair to deep anti-ageing efficacy.
Studies at level ingredient have proven the capacity of Pro-Xylane™ to promote the maturation and the expression of CD44, essential to skin barrier integrity, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis in human dermal fibroblasts, essential for proper skin form and hydration.
Clinical studies have demonstrated that Pro-Xylane™ can significantly improve facial wrinkles, radiance, complexion evenness, and skin firmness in volunteers.
Dr. Lemaitre then highlighted the brand’s latest results on Pro-Xylane™.
First, its promotion of faster healing compared to a positive reference, in a wound closure model, both for epidermal and dermal cells. This is particularly relevant for skin barrier repair and recovery after aesthetic procedures.
Second its capacity to enhance the regenerative potential of aged epidermal cells; in other words, their capacity to self-renew. A drastic increase in clonogenicity (self-renewing property) of a 72-year-old donor was found in the treated group compared to untreated group. A positive effect of Pro-Xylane™ on the morphology of the clones was also noted, suggesting an improved regeneration of aged keratinocytes.
“We have observed that Pro-Xylane™ augments the clonogenic potential of epidermal skin cells. In other words, their ability to renew and multiply. This proves the major implication of Pro-Xylane™ in skin repair and healing activities.” says Jean-Marc Lemaitre, INSERM director, Co-Director of the Institute of Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapies and co-founder of Ingraalys.
White and Black Bandage: Ideal partner for Thermage procedure
As demand for a youthful appearance has increased, various techniques for face have been used to improve skin laxity(1). Recently, THERMAGE, a non-invasive, non-ablative device that uses monopolar radiofrequency energy to bulk heat underlying skin while protecting the epidermis(2) has been introduced for skin firming.
In the face of the growing awareness that aesthetic procedures and cosmetic care are today complementary, Dr. Audrey Gueniche has presented the results of clinical study evaluating the properties of Replasty Age Recovery Day and Night cream on 34 Asian women(3) applying the creams every day on their half-face in comparison to a neutral cream.
Before Thermage, Replasty routine improves skin quality
Preparing skin before an aesthetic procedure is crucial for optimal results. Healthy, well-hydrated skin offers the chance for better response to procedure and less discomforts. Improving skin quality beforehand sets the stage for a more successful and satisfying outcome.
The study showed an improvement of skin quality after only 1 month of pre-treatment:
+12% hydration (clinical scoring by a dermatologist)
+5% skin softness (clinical scoring by a dermatologist)
+9% skin smoothness (clinical scoring by a dermatologist)
100% of women would agree to use the skincare routine again before their next aesthetic procedure to prepare their skin
Right after Thermage, Replasty routine limits discomforts
The skin that has been prepared to Thermage procedure by Replasty routine responds better to the treatment:
- 1h after Thermage, more than 6 women out of 10 have less redness, less burning sensations, less pain, less discomfort, less tightness or less tingling.
- 1 day after Thermage more than 6 women out of 10 have a faster recovery of the side with Replasty routine
After Thermage, Replasty routine augments the procedure results
After Thermage, Replasty routine allows to:
- accelerates results on firmness (+19%) and softness (+9%) vs neutral cream after 1 month
- enhance results on radiance and luminosity (+14% vs +7% for neutral cream), homogeneity (+13% vs +8% for neutral cream) after 3 months
- offer complementary results on pore visibility and forehead lines amongst other
“The combination of Replasty and Thermage isn't just additive, it's transformative. We're seeing significant improvements in firmness, smoothness, and wrinkle reduction. More than 500 women tested and approved Replasty”, says Audrey Gueniche, HELENA RUBINSTEIN Global Scientific Director
